AN earthquake again hit Bengkulu Monday, October 1. The tectonic earthquake measuring magnitude 5.0 on the Richter scale took place with an epicenter at latitude 3.21 degrees south and longitude 100.39 degrees. The quake was located 107 kilometers southwest of Muko-Muko regency, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
