August 1 PT Monagro Kimia submits a request for trials of transgenic cotton produced by Monsanto with Agriculture Minister Soleh Solahuddin.

November 27 Soleh’s wife, Siti Sianah Soleh, asks Monagro for a house at the Bogor Raya Lake. Monagro President
