Dr. Emiel Moerad was chairman of the Indonesian Medical Association (IDI) in Samarinda, East Kalimantan, when he found four members of his organization receiving payments from a drug manufacturer for promoting sales of its products in violation of IDI’s code of ethics. The four admitted to having received the money, but denied any bribery. They insisted that the money was given to them to attend a medical seminar. Dr. Moerad accepted the e
