TO peasants, the land is like a better half that they would defend with all efforts, no matter how hard the fight would be. Disputes concerning land tenure then become unavoidable. The Agrarian Reform Consortium (KPA)’s records show that in the last 30 years there were 1,700 land dispute cases.
