IT is dawn and darkness still envelopes Pangkalan Bun. The wind from the beach brushes against the leaves of the coconut trees; its touch is cold to the skin. “The wind from the sea is not good,” says Darsam, heading towards a perahu kelotok (bamboo boat). “But we will go.
