One afternoon at the end of last March. The ivorycolored house on Jalan Denpasar, South Jakarta, looked empty, quiet and lifeless. There was only a driver, a security guard, and a white Mercedes S-240 sedan, inside the garage. This is where Kaharudin Ongko, the troubled, former owner of Bank Umum Nasional once lived. But he is not home. According to a cigarette vendor who runs a small stall nearby, Ongko used to come often to that house.
