THE life of 59-year-old Alwi Shihab today moves from point to point. His schedule is tight. Time seems to fly. Shihab, currently the Coordinating Minister for Peoples Welfare, seems to be forever chasing deadlines. As head of a team overseeing the disbursement of the fuel price rise compensation fund, he must complete a long list of tasks. Certainly not an easy job.
