At Georgetown University, where he taught, he established the Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding, which received the support of Saudi Arabia’s Prince Al Waleed bin Talal. Its mission is to advance Islam and to facilitate cultural and inter-religious dialogue between followers of Islam and Christianity.
