SANDIAGA Salahuddin Uno accepted a new duty last February: becoming Chair of the Gerindra Party 2019 Presidential Election Campaign Team. Sandiaga, 48, was personally appointed by Prabowo Subianto, the party's general chair.

This Deputy Chair of the Board of Patrons of the Gerindra Party initially declined, saying all his time was spent running the city. However, he agreed when Prabowo asked him to only formulate the campaign strategy and to camp
