The Press Doesn’t Spread Lies

THERE was only one item on Yosep Adi Prasetyo’s agenda for Thursday last week: IndonesiaLeaks. At the crack of dawn, the police were already waiting for him at his Central Jakarta office. At 10am, the Press Council chairman had a meeting with the IndonesiaLeaks creators—Pusat Pengembangan Media Nusantara, Independent Journalists Alliance (AJI) and Tempo Institute. In the afternoon, he again met with the representatives from the national police.
