OVER the last three years, thousands of doctors and hundreds of hospitals in Jakarta, Banten, West Java, East Java and South Sulawesi have allegedly received gratifications fromPT Interbat. Their amounts ranged fromRp5 million toRp2.5 billion. The receipts and records obtained byTempoclearly mentioned the identities of doctors and hospitals, totals of money as well as dates of disbursement and designations. Some of them have acknowledged the matter.
