Last April, the Supreme Court sentenced Abilio Soares to prison on human rights violation charges. But the former governor of East Timor claims he is a political scapegoat.

ABILIO Jose Osorio Soares now has plenty of spare time to spend on his hobby. Whenever possible, Soares challenges his colleagues to a friendly game of table tennis.
