MUNA Forestry Department chief, Arief Aty Matefu, is facing an uncertain future. Since April 13, Matefu has inhabited a prison cell in the Raha State Penitentiary in Muna, Southeast Sulawesi. When TEMPO visited him, Matefu seemed nervous as he shuffled through documents. Together with teak wood auction committee chief, Simon Mahori, and committee treasurer, La Udi Kudu, Matefu has been accused of misappropriating Rp2.5 billion in state funds
