IN the midst of corruption charges, Abdullah Puteh is now facing fresh allegations that he misappropriated regional budget (APBD) funds to finance his legal defense counsel. In June 2004, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) declared Puteh a corruption suspect in the alleged misappropriation of regional budget funds during the purchase of a Russian helicopter for the Aceh Regional Government. Indicting Puteh, the Aceh High Prosecutor's
