The House of Representatives is set to appoint seven Judicial Commission justice. Will the commission be able to restore the public's trust in the Indonesian judiciary?

Formed pursuant to a mandate contained within the third amendment of the 1945 Constitution, the Judicial Commission will play an important role in monitoring and supervising Indonesia's judges. Commission members will be authorized to summons and recommend sanctions against rogue judges, Supreme Court justices and military court judges, deemed to have acted negligently in performing their task.
