THE 1-kilometer road along Kiarapayung Karawang, West Java is heavily damaged. The asphalt is coming off leaving mud-holes. This is where the Texmaco factory complex is located, consisting of Texmaco Perkasa Engineering, Texmaco Jaya, Polysindo and seven other subsidiary companies under the primary company of Bina Prima Perdana (BPP). BPP was formed by the government in 2001 in an attempt to restructure the giant Texmaco consortium of companies,
