The Kutacane District Court ruled that the Southeast Aceh regency elections must be repeated. Actually, the one entitled to issue such ruling is the High Court.

THE ballot boxes are still kept at the office of the Independent Elections Commission (KIP) of Southeast Aceh, in Jalan Pahlawan, Kutacane, the capital of Southeast Aceh. They are still hermetically closed and neatly arranged in a passageway of the main room of the office. The fact that the boxes have not been opened yet indicates that the results of the elections have not been recapitulated yet.
