THE story goes back to when PT Garuda Indonesia CEO, Emirsyah Satar, paid Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Bagir Manan, a visit at the Supreme Court building. This was on June 23, 2005. According to Bagir, that visit was a way for the two to get to know each other. “That was when we had just been sworn in,” said Bagir after Friday prayers two weeks ago.
