Midnight Testimony
The written testimony by Antasari Azhar cannot be used as evidence because it was based on another’s account. He is liable to five years in prison for meeting with a suspect involved in a corruption case.

DETAINED in a cell of the Jakarta Metro Police, Antasari Azhar, 56, remained undeterred from making a story. Last week, a four-sheet statement penned by the suspended Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) circulated. Handwritten and dated May 16, 2009, it was entitled “Testimony”.
