THE new traffic law targets not only motor vehicle users. Even road management agencies deemed negligent are also liable to penalties.

No Regard to Pedestrians and Cyclists
Anybody who drives a car or rides a motorcycle without regard to the safety of pedestrians or cyclists is subject to Article 284.
Penalty: maximum imprisonment of 2 months or a fine of Rp500,000
