Abdoel Raoef Soehoed, a Minister of Industry during the New Order era, celebrates his 90th birthday as a corruption suspect. His fate depends on the government’s decision.

ABDOEL Raoef Soehoed should enjoy his old age with his family. Obviously this will be rather difficult for the former Industry Minister (1978-1983) during the New Order. On his 90th birthday on Tuesday, March 2, he still holds the status of a corruption suspect, a status which the Prosecutor’s Office determined since May 2006.
