IT was an ill-fated day for Brigadier Emanuel Simanjuntak, 28, on Wednesday three weeks ago. The robbers were faster in pulling the trigger than him during the robbery at Bank CIMB Niaga, Medan, South Sumatra. The North Sumatra Mobile Brigade member died from the gunshots fired by the robbers.

Two security guards were badly wounded from the robbers’ gunshots. That afternoon, 16 men, wearing helmets, freely robbed the bank. Eight men entered th
