The AGO states it found no evidence of criminal action by prosecutor Cirus Sinaga in his handling of the Gayus case. Several witnesses in court however mentioned his role in manipulating the case.

ACCOMPANIED by a hot cup of tea and snacks, Darmono listened carefully the explanation given by the team of Special Crimes Prosecutors tasked with analyzing the alleged involvement of prosecutors in manipulating the Gayus Halomoan Partahanan Tambunan case. On Tuesday last week, the Acting Attorney General asked the team to convey the results of an evaluation into the case involving the former Echelon-III tax office official.
