The police ceased the investigation into the “lost” tobacco clause in the Health Bill. In fact, such a loss may be liable to provisions on corruption.

A LETTER from the National Police Criminal Detective Agency perturbed Hakim Sorimuda Pohan, a former member of the House of Representatives (DPR) Health Commission. The letter, sent on Friday two weeks ago, notified that on October 12, 2010 the police discontinued the investigation of the case of a missing tobacco clause in the Health Bill.
The police stated the investigation had been ended due to the absence of any criminal act in the case. “
