Curb the President's Powers
A number of members of the House of Representatives (DPR) have called for a new law to alter the powers of the president. First and foremost, however, it is the 1945 Constitution that ought to be addressed.

The DPR's fury towards the president has apparently reached such proportions that 33 of its members have lost patience waiting for the second memorandum to take its due course toward the convening of an extraordinary session of the People's Consultative Assembly (MPR) to impeach the president. At last Tuesday's DPR plenary session they tabled a bill on the presidency.
