Thunderous applause erupted at the Purwokerto District Court in Central Java last Monday. Several hundred people attending the packed trial yelled out and punched the air. The reason? The death penalty had just been handed down to Rio Alex Bulo by a panel of judges chaired by Sjarnubi.
