Customs Official’s Mysterious Account
An echelon III customs official is believed to have owned bank accounts with irregular transactions involving tens of billions of rupiah. Police began investigating after the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) had already launched its investigation.

THE two-story house painted a combination of gray, black and white on Jalan Daksinapati Barat III, East Jakarta, stands out among other buildings in the vicinity. Through its tall steel fence, three cars were seen parked in the yard and in the garage: a silver Chevrolet Captiva, plate number B-19-DED; a green Jeep, plate number B-19-DC; and a burgundy red Suzuki Swift, plate number B-4-MBU.
