Official nominations for head of the Supreme Court have not yet been put forward. However, after President Abdurrahman Wahid announced 16 Supreme Court justices last week, people have begun to talk about candidates they think would be suitable for the highest post in the judiciary. In the meantime, Muladi, who is fully supported by the Golkar Party, is leading the competition.
