THE DIRECTORATE General of Immigration now has a newcommandant, and he is a civilian who assumes the post previously ‘reserved’ for military men. Last Wednesday the former head of theJakarta Office of the Ministry of Justice, M. Iman Santoso, became Director Generalof Immigration, replacing Maj. Gen. (ret)M. Mudakir.
