The Supreme Court has declared Gorontalo Governor Fadel Muhammad, bankrupt. The court has ordered that his assets be seized to pay Rp181 billion in debts.

This could only happen in Indonesia. The Governor of Gorontalo (located near North Sulawesi) Fadel Muhammad has been declared bankrupt by the Supreme Court (MA).
