An environmental activist is tried for criticizing a regent. No change in the behavior of public officials?

The changing times have reduced people's fears of openly voicing their criticisms. It's no wonder then, that officials in the central and regional government are increasingly exposed to brickbats from their people. That's what happened to the Regent of Gorontalo, Achmad Hoesa Pakaya. Rahman Dako, an environmental activist from the Resources Management Network (Japesda), considered him to have lied to the public about illegal logging.
