LAST week, Todung Mulya Lubis, was nominated for the position of Indonesian Advocates Association (Ikadin) Chairperson. One week earlier, Ikadin sanctioned Mulya Lubis for posting a legal commentary in the press over a district court judicial verdict. Handed down by Ikadin's Council of Honour, South Jakarta branch, the sanction was only cautionary in nature. Nevertheless, the warning is an interesting precedent in the regulation of Indonesia's
