A Draft Excluder?
NGOs are noisily making their opinions known that the draft Law on Foundations is actually a step backwards. Why? It enforces state control over matters that should rightly be self-determined by the people.

UNLIKE during the New Order era, the House of Representatives (DPR to you) should no longer be just a rubber-stamp institution, pumping out laws willy-nilly. The government should also refrain from drafting laws on matters that are essentially the concern of the people. That is one of the most important changes that ought to have occurred during this supposed reform period.
