THIS week, English Tempo, or TEBI (short for Tempo Bahasa Inggeris) as we are referred to around Tempo headquarters, turns 8 years old. In the old Javanese tradition, eight years makes one life cycle, an auspicious beginning. And so it is with us, as we go forth more confident than ever of our mission.
