I appeal to the government to withhold PT Telkom's plan for a step-by-step mass dismissal of employees, which will start in early 2001. Based on personal experience—the decision for forced early retirement of thousands of employees in late 1995, according to PT Telkom's Management Decree No. KD 57—brought nothing but grief to the affected families, with no advantages whatsoever for PT Telkom. Afterwards it turned out that PT Telkom deci
