Hazardous Flavor Enhancer in Our Dishes

LAST week I dined at three different places: a sidewalk stall, an ordinary restaurant, and an expensive restaurant in one of the malls. In all three, the foods I ordered were given monosodium glutamate (MSG), a chemical flavor enhancer that could trigger some serious health problems such as cancer if consumed regularly over a long period. Does the Minister of Health give any attention to this?
