TEMPO's cover story about the ethnic conflict in Sampit and Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan (March 12 edition) was very partisan. I really regret the way the report was presented without explaining how the Madurese migrants socialize with the locals. If necessary, there should be crosschecks with other migrant groups. Why were other incidents prior to the bigger conflicts not reported at all, especially the murders of the Dayaks? Was this intenti
