The first paragraph of TEMPO’s SIDELINES (January 22 edition), written by Mr. Goenawan Mohammad, has strengthened my concern that there must be certain people who firmly believe that all infidels deserve a lesson. To these people, the reason for the killings in the churches is justifiable. Those who financed it not only wanted to create instability in this country. Those who put the bombs did not do it solely for the money. It seems both of
