Regarding the article titled Remote Control (February 19 edition), we would like to make the following clarification.

The article was based on a meeting between President Abdurrahman Wahid and head of the National Television (TVRI), Mr. Chairul Zen, on Tuesday, February 13, 2001. Based on this meeting, TEMPO tried to create the impression that the president was trying to "tame" TVRI.
