We are writing to formally express our concern over the many inaccuracies and misleading statements in TEMPO's article Smelling an IBRA Rat (May 7).

Of particular concern to PT McKinsey Indonesia is the allegation that IBRA's appointment of consultants involved corruption or a lack of a transparent bidding process. We would like to clarify that—contrary to the articles' contention—McKinsey was selected to serve IBRA under a competitive
