In Goenawan Mohamad’s SIDELINES titled Repeats (June 18), it was written that the historical event took place October 17 1953, while in fact it was in 1952, and the correct date of Sukarno’s Presidential Decree was July 5 1959, not 1958. TEMPO should be more careful so it can be more credible.
