IN the 2014 General Elections, Indonesian eligible voters totaled 186,612,255 and those exercising their voting right constituted 75.2 percent. The rest did not vote, also known as golput (nonvoter). Meanwhile, in the 2019 elections, the number of eligible voters was 196,545,636, but those using their voting rights were only 81.97 percent.
