Fed up with Gobbledegook
October 23, 2000
Thank you for a first-class magazine. The reporting and the prose are superb. After two years of reading the gobbledegook printed by the English-language dailies, I despaired of finding any hard news.
Surely if publications such as yours flourish, then Indonesia will cease to be a vast farm where people are bred to enrich the farmers. The farmers in this case being the obscenely corrupt politicians, military, officials and corporations.
