Jakarta, circa 1965. Following his return from America, Kayam received a job with a publisher. Meanwhile, in his spare time, he started to move in the Yogya Circle, which consisted of former TRIP people who had studied at Gadjah Mada University and later moved to Jakarta. They frequently met in a building next to the offices of the Minister of the Economy, Sultan Hamengku Buwono IX, on Jl. Merdeka Selatan. It was in this cool pavilion that Kayam
