Mikhail Bakunin would be a familiar name for those in the know of social theories and movements. He was an anarchist, dispelled by Marx from The International, an international socialist movement. His uncle, Modest Bakunin, was the consul of the Russian empire in Batavia for five years (1894-1899). After completing t
