MY name is Manari. In the Zaparo language it means a giant lizard living in the forest. But if we wish to list names for official registration, we must use Spanish names. So I'm also called Bartolo Ushigua. Zaparo people are among the best of Indians. Our shamans have effective magic and healing powers because they know the secrets of 500 plant species."
