An Indonesian environmental activist has a strong chance of gaining international recognition for her work. Born 40 years ago in a small village in Mapanduma, Timika, Papua, in Indonesia's easternmost province of Irian Jaya, Yosepha Alomang of the Amungme tribe is one of the nominees for the prestigious Goldman Environmental Prize. Winners of the award with a cash prize of US$75,000 will be announced next month. Yosepha i
