Rupert Murdochs presence will change the face of the local television industry. Its estimated that half of Indonesias 10 national TV stations will find it difficult to survive.

FINALLY the onslaught has begun. At the beginning of the month, the television world baron Rupert Murdoch officially gained control over 20 percent of shares in ANTV, the Indonesian television station owned by the Bakrie family.
