BRANDISHING the order for his release in one hand and a victory sign with his other hand, Erwin Arnada smiled widely as he walked out of East Jakarta’s Cipinang Prison last week. On that day, the chief editor of Playboy magazine breathed the air of freedom. He sported a grey-black T-shirt reading: ‘Journalism is Not A Crime, Cipinang Prison 2010’. Arnada said that the writing on his T-shirt, “says it all.”
