The House of Representatives (DPR) was right to reproach President Abdurrahman Wahid, say the overwhelming majority of respondents. Should he now step down?

The president's supporters need to keep their anger in check. Just because the DPR issued a memorandum to Abdurrahman 'Gus Dur' Wahid doesn't mean his followers should have taken to the streets or burned the Golkar Party office in Surabaya. The vast number of those polled believe the legislators' decision was correct.
